Independence Day 2013

Here are some pictures from our little town's parade and Independence Day celebration.  Love small town celebration reminds me of home,  they are real low key and easy for everyone.  We parked early to get a good spot (that's a joke - there were only maybe 40 cars parked in the parking lot, but lots of others walked to it or golf carted to it).

just eating a carrot, looks a little mean doesn't he ?!?

Waiting for it to start

Still waiting now with our friends

I see it!

all I can get are the backs of them once it starts and it's short (5 min tops)

Hey we know them, it's our next door neighbors, the Nelson's :)

got some candy

and now the real fun... the two huge water slides the city rents for the maybe 20 kids that show up :)
that is one happy boy up there!

caught some air on that one

also lost his shorts :)

back for more

and the Nelson girls right next door, Greyson's buddies.  Thanks for putting up with him girls!!!

summer fun at it's best!
