What a Kid Sees

So I(Greyson's Mom) got a new hair cut and what I though was a cute new sweater.  I got all gussied up to go to a party with Dave and Greyson.  Came out of the bathroom and Greyson said,

WOW!!! Mom you look like....like a Zebra!!! 

and he really though it was a huge complement to say that.

Leave it to a kid to take you down a notch or two. :)

We're getting geared up for our trip, all three of us got hair cuts, pictures of them to come when we're more tan.   We're digging out and packing all the summer clothes and very busy with other projects in the process.  But we did find time to have some fun this week.

 

  Kids  I mean Dads and kids love boxes!

 

Here we are on the stairs (and a big bah humbug to you if you're seeing these and thinking how dangerous instead of how fun).

 

Took the boxes and strapped them to the stairs so we could have car (and other various object) races down the "slide". 

 

GDY by himself, he was having fun but the more the merrier so I made a phone call and before I knew it THIS happened.

all the girls from next door and their friends ran in and took over.  Greyson still was having a good time just didn't really fit on the stairs anymore. 

After they left he got to take a few rides down the slide himself, yes I said he sat on it and slid down the slide on his bottom. 

 

  

 Here is what the next day brought for the boxes, Greyson wanted a house so here is David building him one with the hot glue gun. 

 

 

The last picture was at night, he wanted glow sticks to light it up so you can see them hanging from the roof.  He camped out in it over night.  Loves his new house, and to think it was just boxes that were going to get thrown away.
