Weekend Recap

It was loads of fun having everyone up to Bonham for the weekend. The kids had so much fun fishing on the boat with David, swinging on the swing, playing in the yard with the jeep and having a sleep over. Here are some pictures that I took on my new camera so glad to have one again.

Is Paige the cutest thing ever or what?!?

Greyson loves his swing, can even pump, can't seem to put his boots on the the correct feet though.

see Dad I finally finished your swing project.  This swing is from a 100+ year old school house.  My grand father had it at his house and my dad fixed it up for Greyson.  Then left me everything I needed to paint his name on it, took me a year to do it :)

what's up?!?

What's up?!?

This is what they do all day, try and eat the grass before it grows.  It's like we've got 12 lawn mowers and 8 little lawn mowers in training.

this is what a girl looks like when you say smile for the camera...

and this is what boys look like!
We did get rained out at about 8:30 Sunday morning, didn't get any pictures but the storm was a typical spring thunder storm.  Fast moving with a lot of rain in it.  With in 30 minutes we had an inch and 1/2 of rain, no hail.  Kids thought it was cool, watching all the parents run around trying to pack and get stuff out to the cars before the storm hit then getting to watch the rain from the windows.  It was moving about 60 miles per hour and caught most of us still packing up not even out side.

By the time we arrived home to a house without power (storm related) and got packed back up  it was time to go over to what turned out to be the best birthday party ever.  Britain turned 5 and his parents had a great castle themed party complete with a castle bounce house with slide.  They also heated the entire pool, had a pinata and of course cake and ice cream.  When we came home Greyson sat on the couch for an hour and then wanted to go bed early.  Packed a little too much in the weekend for him I think :)
