Growing like a weed

Wednesday we went back to the doctor for a follow up, (Greyson constantly has an ear infection it seems).  His doctor, who he loves!!! insisted on the fact that he had grown since the last appointment, so much so that she measured and weighted him.  She was right.  Since his appointment on July 15 (40 days ago) he's grown 3/4 of an inch taller and one whole pound heavier!  He looks so much taller and thinner to me lately and he's been eating like crazy.  Among other things that he likes to eat I bought 3 boxes (not the small boxes) of animal crackers last week.  He's been going threw a box just about every 3 days. Another example, he'll eat a whole bowl of oatmeal and a glass of milk and then want a snack 10 minutes later.

Wednesday was also his first day at school, it was a half day they just had the new kids for a trial run so they could teach them where things are and what the rules are.  He liked it didn't really mind when I left him there either.  Yesterday morning was his first full day with all the other kids.  We got their early, I can drop him off as early as 7:30 and since I also need to be to work by 7:30 I'll be there that early every morning. He did great just 3 hugs, 2 kisses and a wave at the window and I was back in the car.  On the way home he was quite talkative.  I asked if there were any girls in his class, his answer was an excited, "All kinds of Girls MOM!"  Then I asked him what he did all day, he answered "I cut paper mom!!!"  (they have kid scissors).  On Monday night at the school for our orientation he was cutting paper when we came to get him from the craft room.  Also my friend who's kid also goes there said she saw him yesterday just intensely cutting paper when she came to pick up her kid.  So I think a pair of kid scissors are in order for a weekend purchase.

This is him going in on his first 1/2 day

This is hist first full day, Not the best picture but shows his lunch box and plant.  They get to water them every Wednesday
The best test of if he liked it was this morning when he said he wanted to go back.
