Birthday Weekend

I had a great birthday weekend. Which started on Thursday evening, we had a bunch of friends over. The kids had fun playing and the adults had fun eating and talking.  Here we are all eating cake.

Then on Friday we drove up to Bonham to start the smoker and brisket.  Everyone showed up early Saturday to enjoy a day full of fishing, eating, 4-wheeling, clay pigeons and potato gun fun.  It was very warm (85) but then by late afternoon the winds shifted and we started to get some cold air out of the north then next day the high temp was 50.  Lots of guest took pictures I'll ask to get some so I can post them.

It was a great weekend but I'm glad birthdays only come around once a year.

*update* here's a super sweet picture that Kim took of Ellie and Greyson, he talks about his friend Ellie all the time(wouldn't you if your friend was this cute).  All the kids had fun in the kid jeep this weekend, it was desperately in need of a charge by Sunday.
