We headed out to the country property this weekend (commonly referred to as "Muddy Acres" - name fit it like a glove this weekend). We got to sit by the campfire and watch a great thunderstorm north of us on Friday night, the lightning was awesome. The weather was great on Saturday until about 3PM, cool and crisp but warm in the sun, then the skies opened up...it didn't stop and clear up until just as the sun was setting which made for some really weird pictures and Greyson's most favorite thing EVER - a rainbow.
Too bad the dog thinks so also, they fought over sticks for hours. Oh and if you look really close in the top left corner of the picture you can see the BBQ smoker that Greyson's Dad just built.
Not that we ever get great fall color but there are a few trees in the back ground of this picture that give you an idea of what it looks like up there right now.
Sure wish someone with a nice camera was there, these pictures don't even give you an idea of what it looked like, they do however give you an idea of how muddy it became :)
