Patio Project Pictures and Grammie and Grampie Visit Update

We have been slowly working on finishing a patio pergola.  Here are some (really not very clear cell phone) pictures from the progress:

David spend evenings working on it and I spent weekends staining it and finally this past weekend I finished all the staining.  We're real happy with how it turned out (see below) and glad to be finished with it.

see how our grass keeps getting assaulted (all the black dirt spots in the far bottom of the photo) by some mystery animals at night.  Skunks and/or armadillos are on top of the suspect list, need to set the game camera up to verify.

Here are some more sedums I transplanted to this one big make shift planter it's an old tool box I've been hanging on to for a while.  Most had been in the house till now.

We are in the middle of my parents visiting, we sent Grampie home this morning to get back to work and Grammie and Greyson are still happily enjoying their time together.  We all went to Bonham this past weekend, the weather was unseasonably cool which was great for us and David as he bailed the hay field.  Then when we came back home Grampie put up a zip line in the yard for Greyson (pictures to come) he loves it.  The pulley was the same one we had on our zip line in my yard as kids.  Real fun was had on that thing and he seems to be in love with it so I guess it has plenty of years of fun ahead for him as well.  Grammie is taking Greyson to his summer swim lessons, he's having fun time will tell if he's learning anything.  Not sure what is on tap for this weekend maybe a trip to the lake with the boat, need to get them in before it gets too hot (can't believe it's not already).
