Only in Texas....

So we're taking Greyson over to one of the local towns this Saturday to see Santa.  This is no usual trip to see Santa.   He will parachute from a helicopter to the event.  And this is no normal event.   This town really does it up with very widespread snowfalls every 15 minutes and a light show set to Christmas music that tops anything you can think of.   Well on second thought actually I'll be thinking of what my brother and family are doing that same night which seems slightly more appropriate and on the opposite end of the spectrum.  A trip to the Farmer's Museum where they serve you freshly made gingerbread in colonial clothing and fancy Clydesdale horses with jingle bells come around hitched to a carriage every 15 minutes for rides.   Hope you feel vindicated on that ride with Bella,  Andy.   I'll be missing out on it this time :)

PS On second though the grass is always greener...you'll probably step in horse poop and have to smell it in the car the whole way home :)
