Don't you only hear this from a middle kid....

It was 6AM, Greyson had just gotten up and come down stairs to snuggle in Mom and Dad's bed.  The first thing he said while looking right at Dave with his big eyes and a sad face.

Please feed me Dave?

It was said with a tone of real concern that we might not. David got right up and did as he asked and said on his way to the kitchen that Greyson should try out for the staring children commercial, that he would be a shoe in and get them all kinds of donations.

He's also really working on his manners lately.

We were in the grocery store after work and he wanted to push the cart by himself badly that he was saying, "no thank you mommy" over and over anytime I tried to redirect the cart or slow him down. He knew he was doing something special and that if he screamed or whined that he would end up riding in the cart instead so he was on his best behavior.

Then at 3AM that night we heard him saying, "no thank you, no thank you" in his sleep.
