Bonham news

David is almost finished with the fence, just has a few more strands of electric to run.  We're planning to go up this weekend while he finishes.  On this coming Thursday he is picking up some free to us large underground tanks that use to be used to hold gas / diesel.  What are these good for you ask?   Why to drive across the creek!  David plans to cut off both ends and push them into the creek so we can use them as very large culverts/ kind of like a cheap bridge.  They will give us driving access to the other entire side of the property YEAH!!!  This is a very good thing, can't wait to take a tour on the jeep.

Also of interest Saturday we should be able to go and pick up the donkeys.

Having Grand-Mom up for some barbecue on Sunday, hope the weather is nice.

David made friends with the people leasing the land directly west of us (behind the house) and they are really nice and interesting, they know all about cows and gave him a lot of good advise and even offered up hay equipment if needed in a pinch.  I hope they come over this coming weekend so I can meet them.

Other news :

While David was in Bonham this past weekend Greyson and myself when to the lake house with friends to relax and enjoy the weather.  It was so much fun Greyson had a great time playing with his best buddy and we all enjoyed hanging out and riding on the boat.  With the weather change came some stuffy noses though so I took off Monday to take him into the doctor and once again he has two ear infections.  It was such a shock to me, he eat like a horse all weekend, no fever and really was in a great mood until bed time.  I had to give him Motrin to keep him asleep, this was the only thing that was wrong with him and that even gave me a clue that he was even a little sick.  The doctor looked at his chart and said he's had 8 this year, if he gets another he's going straight to a specialist.  I hope he doesn't get another.

Pictures from the lake to follow...
