Also up for sale is his toddler bed/ crib and crib set. Out with the old and in with the new (ok well not new but newly painted, thanks Dad)
Work done thus far to Greyson room- I painted the walls a dark muddy grey, lined his curtains with blackout fabric (I had them originally in the sun room but didn't need them there anymore). Dad painted the bed frame and dresser a nice shiny white. And his Ganny (what he now calls my mom) helped find a nice bed sheet set and comforter AND she made his really cute throw pillow.

What still needs to be done: have some pictures blown up for the frames and hang some white floating shelves from IKEA (l really like that place but hate to shop there, it's always so crowded!!! but at least its close by when we do need to go).
He can't actually sleep on his bed the way it is in the above picts though so we moved his bed to the wall and put a guard on it.

Rachel, Greyson's room looks fantastic! What a grown up little guy. I LOVE what you did!!! :)
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much, I love the colors together. I still have some finishing touches to go that will hopefully make it a little more fun for the kid. Only comments that I've gotten verbably are that it looks a little grown up and I agree it needs to have some fun kid stuff added in. I'll post more pictures then. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove the transformation! Looks like a totally different room. I think more "grown up" is a good thing. Then you might not have to redo the room so soon. But more kid stuff (the hanging chair) will make it more fun too.
