Bananas, Swimming and the Crib is Gone (Oh no)

Greysons word list is getting longer but quite a few of them sound like he made them up. For instance he pronounces the word Banana like "bodies". If you hold up it up and say, "you want a banana?" he says bodies mommy bodies. It's really weird. and another is blanket which use to be "kitties" because his favorite one has two kitties on it now has transformed to "mimies". Any one of his blankets is a mimies not just the kitties mimies (if you can follow that). "Bee" is birds, "A B" is a bus or truck.

Had a great visit with my mom, got a lot done and still had fun. I'm really looking forward to going up in July for TWO whole weeks to see all the family including my new niece Bella, I'm even taking visitors with me. I've asked my good friend Olivia and her son Andrew who just turned 3 if they wanted to escape some of the summer heat and come up with us for a little while, she bought the tickets this weekend :) I can't wait to show her all around and introduce the two of them to everyone. After she leave David will fly in for the last week and the 4th of July family picnic at my parents house.

It's really hot now that summer is fully underway my car said it was 100 on my drive home yesterday and that was at 5pm. We've been in our pool a few times but need to get in more now that it's really hot, might try to organize a pool party soon.


Greyson's really learning a lot at his swim classes, he's not at all scared to try anything Miss Lauren asks them to do. this week he was jumping off the side and going completely under water and thought it was so much fun.

We took the front off the crib this weekend to convert it to a toddler bed, it still has a guard rail so he can't fall out easily. Weird thing is he doesn't really get that anything has changed, still insists that I need to lift him in and out of it (not a bad thing).

I think that's all for now, I'll check my camera tomorrow and see if there are any good pictures of mom's visit to post.
