Fire Trucks Come to Visit

Oh my we had fun this morning. Greyson and I we're trying to go to his 15 month appointment and while I was strapping him in his car seat I didn't realize it but my keys fell out of my pocket and then I must have sat on them which locked all the doors. I gave him his water and Cheerios and then shut the door locking him inside. Oh that's a bad feeling when you know you don't have another set of keys and you know your kid's locked inside. I promptly realized what I needed to do and called 911. In less than a minute I could hear the sirens and then a fire truck turned on our street and then an ambulance from the other end of the street. Greyson was really enjoying watching all the guys and trucks with flashing lights just eating his Cheerios. With in 3 minutes of pulling up they had jimmied my car open and where already packing up to leave. Hope I don't ever have to call 911 again but at least I know someone will be at the house very quickly! We were only a little late to the appointment and had a great excuse!

His doctor said he's doing awesome, she can't believe how tall he is. 34 inches tall (99.7%) only weights 22 pounds (25%). Also said we could start "time outs" if we wanted to for discipline. He got 4 shots and a big bouncy ball (their treats instead of lollipops). He loves them, stopped crying right away and played with it all the way home.

Hope the rest of the day is less eventfully.
